23 months!

We are getting so close to that second birthday!  It's hard to believe that she'll be two in a month.  I think it definitely goes faster for the second kid than for the first.  :)  Don't they look like they love each other?  At least in this moment?

I think I said it already, but she is picking up a new word every day.  It's pretty amazing. Some of the newer words:
fun, whee, toots, car, truck, "jorch" - George (as in Curious George), "cheetcheet" - cupcake, "chichen" - chicken, duck, hot dog, goat, bird, snack, digger, water,"yee-utz" - yuck

One new funny thing she does is make this face when she hears something (like someone in another room, etc.)  I guess this must be the face I made to her when she would perk up to a noise.  Cracks me up!

Oma sent matching pajamas for H and her doll, Tessa.  Hadley was so excited that she matched her!  And then she did her bedtime routine for Tessa, before we could start her own routine.  Pretty sweet.

After Hadley goes to bed, Owen gets some quality parent time with a game of his choice. I love it when he requests chess!  He's still learning, but I think it's pretty awesome anyway.

Our downtown area has lots of "public art" benches in different shapes, which we love. Looks like H and the bear are on lookout.

I told the kids to stick out their arms like they were skateboarding, and this is what I got. I guess H hasn't seen many skateboarders!
