Boy Bath Makeover

We did a thing this week! The boy really needed an update in his bathroom. Since we got new windows in June, they did not have an opening window in the small bathroom window size, and there was never a vent fan in there. So a few times, when he opened the bathroom door after a shower, the humid cloud that emerged set off the smoke detector. The toilet needed frequent plunging, and the linoleum floor and builder-grade cabinet were not anything worth saving.

Owen really wanted dark grey wood-look tile and a more mature look. We toned down the paint and upgraded the vanity, toilet, and fixtures. We are happy with the results! Before...

We did bring in the pros though, since we added a new switch and vent fan that had to vent outside. Hard to believe that they built a bathroom without ventilation!
