Rites of spring

Well, it's June now, but I think we can finally say that spring is here. :) We stopped off at a "lava trail" that loops around from an interstate rest stop about 20 miles from our house. It was a little breezy, but the sun was out and little legs enjoyed the stretch and fresh air.

This morning, Owen and I marched for babies with our local moms group. We couldn't have asked for better weather, although the local event's organization could have used some fine-tuning. (Because of the river flooding, we had to backtrack probably an extra mile (with no signage), including hoisting all of our strollers over a fence.) Oh well. At the end of it, we got a hot dog and Owen and Caydie enjoyed the cooler best of all!
