And then there were four. We said good-bye to Granna and Grandad last night and hello to a week on our own. Gulp! Now we'll really see what we're made of. We are so thankful to Granna and Grandad for their help and support while they were here entertaining Owen, cooking meals, chauffeuring us around, doing heavy lifting, and providing extra hands where needed!
Owen has been very interested in Hadley when she's awake. Usually he's within six inches of her face. :) Here he's showing her the features of his old bouncer. I love his expression in the last photo and her little feet sticking out before that.
Hadley also got her first bath. It was just a sponge bath, since she still has her umbilical cord, but you can see the phases go from curiosity to anger to relief at the end.
And I had to document her first hair bow. :) It's stuck on with Karo syrup!
She did great at her 2-week check-up. Her stats were 20.5" long (75%), 7 lbs 8 oz (25%) and head circumference of 14.25" (13%). Another long and skinny baby and above her birth weight already, so we were happy!
So here we go forward, our Party of Four.
