Pulling Up - this stage comes with lots of new bruises. She got a pretty good bruise on her lip at a friend's birthday party last weekend, but it was mostly gone by these pictures.
She has been able to get around pretty well by wiggling and rolling, but she finally has done a more traditional crawl. I think this video was one of the first times I saw her do it. Not very graceful, but it gets the job done!
Her additional mobility has led to some interesting discoveries. She was lying next to the table when I stepped into the kitchen. A few moments later, she was on the lower shelf of the table. Time to break out the baby gates!
And now a few other recent happenings in our house...
Here's my sweet new ride just in time for summer bootcamps at the park! They both seemed to enjoy it and like riding next to each other.
Cooperative sibling play, though there is definitely tension if she tries to touch the cars that he has diligently lined up. I think this will be our daily challenge for quite some time to come!
Obligatory sibling bath picture! Owen was so excited to have a bath buddy, and Hadley really enjoyed the bigger tub. :)
This is what I got when I asked him for a 'natural' smile.
His friend Abigail had a princess party where the guests were supposed to wear their 'royal best'. I told Owen he had to dress like a prince, but he wanted to dress like a king. Way to think, my boy!
And this was our yard on May 1st! Seriously. Enough cold already.
